Rated 31/2 star by AAA, Cardigan Lodge Motel is independently owned, situated in a quiet, relaxing, rural location, just 10 km west from the Victory Arch on the well renowned and picturesque Avenue of Honor (Remembrance Drive) in Ballarat.

Our extra spacious units are at ground level with an outdoor pool and spa area, games room, large outdoor play area, plus access to 2 tennis courts and community playground, making Cardigan Lodge Motel the ideal venue for families, couples, groups and schools.

The on-site licensed restaurant, Molly & Petes, seating up to 90, offers excellent dining at affordable prices, and a Big Screen sound system (great for entertaining groups and schools).

Your hosts, Robyn and Paul, previously from the Pelican At Lakes Motel in Lakes Entrance, Victoria, purchased the property in May, 2005, and have embarked on a substantial refurbishment program to update and improve all facilities.

Combining Robyn & Paul’s previous experience in the industry with their excellent reputation, Cardigan Lodge Motel's all ready for handling both large and small groups - and a wealth of new ideas and plans.

With the huge range of attractions and activities Ballarat and surrounding areas have to offer, stay a day or stay a week – there will always be something new for you to do and see.
